Mezcal - Espadín

Espadín is known for having a balanced flavour profile, with mineral and fruity notes. This balance allows the mezcalero to be highly creative with production techniques highlighting their signature flavour profiles and well as the terroir that the magueys are grown on. This makes drinking espadín mezcales very interesting!

Compared to other magueys, Espadín is highly sustainable, as it reproduces easily, has a high sugar content, matures quickly (on average 8 years), and has a high yield.
