Ocho Tequila - NOM 1474
Ocho is made by Carlos Camarena, brother of Felipe! He is a traditional distiller who worked with the late Tom Estes to produce single-origin tequila ie each batch is made from agaves raised on a specific field in a specific year. Some of his fields are higher or stonier or closer to water etc, so each field produces different nuances. This makes Ocho tequilas collectable, as each one will taste different and when they are gone, that is it, there is no more!
