Tapatío Tequila - NOM 1139

Generations of expertise and fierce family pride make Tapatío a tequila that stands out—the renowned La Alteña Distillery was founded in Jalisco, Mexico, in 1937 by Don Felipe Camarena. Today, Tapatío is still owned by the Camarena family, and Don Felipe's grandson Carlos continues the legacy as master distiller.

We have chosen two almighty expressions from the Tapatío range: Extra Añejo Excelencia which is rested in heavily charred 'alligator burned' oak barrels. It is rich with barrel notes while still retaining all the agave nuances - fabulous! Blanco 110 is bottled at almost still strength - 55% abv. Agave flavours shine, making this 50cl bottle the equivalent of a 70cl at 40% - less packaging and less weight = better for the environment!
