Description
Folded corn tortillas are fried until they are a crisp, commonly referred to as taco shells but really they are tostadas - just folded over - tostada doblada! If you think of them as a folded tostada your mind opens to more ideas for fillings - not just Taco Bell style hot fillings which are great, but also to tostada toppings! Like steak tartare with fresh green chilli and lime or black bean dip with fried plantain, lime and cream or chicken Tinga with slices of avocado and a healthy grating of aged cheese, - Que Rico!
These Tosti-Tacos are made in Mexico with proper nixtamalized corn flour and fried in sustainable palm oil. When warmed in an oven they are a tasty, crunchy vehicle for your favourite hot fillings or use as is for those tostada topping you love!
Important fact: these Tosti-Tacos are made from 15cm corn tortillas with a 4 cm opening - so you can fill them generously! We like this!

IF re heat follow these instructions
Pre heat oven to 180°C. Remove packaging, and place on baking tray slightly spread out but leaving them over lapping, this will help to keep them open for maximum stuffing. Bake for 6- 7 minutes until crisp and toasty, stuff with a filling and topping straightaway, serve and eat!

Storage and Preparation
Store in a cool and dry place. Once opened store in an airtight container and use within 5 days.
IMPORTANT
Products are shipped around the country by couriers whose touch is not always delicate, please be aware not all your taco shells will arrive perfect and this is quite normal. You can experience a breakage rate of approx. 10%.
