Hibiscus iced tea by Kristina Urbonaite

Sweet cranberry-like tasting iced tea, that is just too easy to make.
In this recipe we are using baking soda to reduce the bitterness, as boiling water releases the tannins of tea and makes it bitter.
Alternatively, you can brew tea overnight with cold water.

- 20g Hibiscus Flowers
- 4 black tea bags
- 1/5tsp baking soda
- 100g sugar
- 1/2 lemon
- lemon slices to garnish
Additional details
1. Pour boiled water over tea bags and Hibiscus flowers.
2. Add sugar, baking soda, squeeze the lemon and stir well. Leave it for 10min.
3. Strain the tea through a sieve and leave it to cool down completely.
4. Add a slice of grapefruit to the glass, fill it up with ice and cover with tea.
