Micheladas are made with beer, red or green tomato juice, Habanero Hot Sauce and plenty of ice and, this drink is refreshing for hot days, parties or perfect for a pick me up, drunk quickly it brings a sparkle to your eye and makes you belch. Always good.
If you can find really a 1 litre glass that will fit all the ice, the fixings and a can of beer you are on to a winner, other wise serve half a can of beer with 1/4 cup of tomato mix.
Additional details
- 240ml chilled tomato juice
- 20ml fresh lime juice
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tsp Cool Chile Habanero Hot Sauce
- 1 tsp of Maggi or soy sauce
- Beer
- 5 x 440ml tins of Mexican lager or lager of your choice
- To Garnish
- Cool Chile Salty Chilli Rim or a salt of your choice for a rim
- Ice
- lime wedges or wheels to serve
Additional details
- Add everything except the beer ice and lime wheels to a jug, stir to mix and refrigerate.
- In a chilled beer glass, moisten the rim with a piece of lime, dip in the salt, then fill the glass with ice.
- Add 1/4 cup of the chilled tomato mix to the beer glass and top with beer, stir slightly.
